December 24th 2025
Just before we head off for the Christmas break, we wanted to take a moment to say a very big thank you to everyone across adult social care who has worked with us, supported our work, or simply taken the time to engage with what we do.
We see every day just how much care, effort and commitment goes into supporting people, often in really challenging circumstances. It’s a privilege to work alongside a sector that keeps showing up for people, even when the pressure is high and the resources are stretched.
We’re hugely grateful to all the people who have shared their time, knowledge and experience with us this year. That includes our webinar and event speakers, case studies, podcast contributors, local support organisations across the country, and our Board members, whose insight and challenge help keep us focused on what really matters.
Thank you as well to NHS England and the Department of Health and Social Care, and to our partners who work so closely with us. We’re lucky to collaborate with the Institute for Ethics in AI, Casson Consulting, Care Workers Charity, National Care Association, Care England, Digitising Social Care, Skills for Care and many others.
We also want to say a special thank you to the more than 21,000 care services that have taken steps to strengthen their data security by completing the Data Security and Protection Toolkit. We know this takes time and effort, on top of everything else you’re juggling, and it really does help protect people and build trust.
Most importantly, thank you to care workers and people drawing on care. Your questions, feedback, stories and everyday experiences shape our work more than you might realise. You keep us grounded and remind us why digital, data protection and cyber security need to work for real life, not just policy or systems.
As we head into 2026, we’ll be right here with you. We’ll keep listening, learning and doing our best to offer clear, practical support that fits the realities of care.
We wish care workers, people drawing on care, families and everyone who supports adult social care a safe, restful Christmas. Take care of yourselves, and we look forward to working with you again in the year ahead.
Seasons Greetings
