This year’s Care Show Birmingham 2025 will see the exciting launch of the free BYOD Policy Builder Tool, the first of 11 new policy builders designed to save providers hours of work while strengthening their cyber security.
Join us at the “Digital Care Hub – Your Digital Questions Answered” drop in hub (stand B11) where you can come and ask us anything from digital systems and innovative changes to cyber security matters. You will also be able to join the team for an interactive live demo where we will build a BYOD policy together in just 15 minutes. Tailored to your organisation’s needs and aligned with DSPT requirements, this game-changing tool makes policy creation easier, faster and more effective than ever. We also have a host of other interactive workshops to test your cyber-savviness and have fun too.

Build-a-BYOD Policy – 8 October, 11am
See the brand-new BYOD Policy Builder Tool in action. In this live demo, we will walk you through creating a customised, DSPT-compliant BYOD policy that reflects your organisation’s unique needs. From understanding the risks of BYOD and what your policies should include, to seeing exactly how the tool can give you back hours of your time, you will leave ready to strengthen security and streamline your policy building.
Multi Factor Authenticator (MFA) & Passwords – 8 October, 2pm
Think your password is strong? Put it to the test! In this interactive session, we’ll run you through password challenges and quick memory games to show why long, unpredictable passphrases beat clever tricks like “Pa$$w0rd123!”. You will also discover the MFA hierarchy and how to quickly and effectively boost your security.
Care Show – Day Two
Talk to an Ethical Hacker – 9 October, 11am
Ever wanted to ask a hacker how cyberattacks really work? Here is your chance. Our in-house ethical hacker, Cyber Sam, has seen it all from phishing to firewalls, banking to the NHS. Get straight, jargon-free answers to your burning cyber security questions and take away practical tips you can apply immediately.
Phishing Emails & Social Engineering – 9 October, 2pm
Could you outsmart a scammer? Put your skills to the test in our phishing quiz and scavenger hunt, both on-site and online. Learn how cybercriminals piece together seemingly harmless clues to launch big attacks, spot the red flags before they catch you, and take home tips to protect yourself and your organisation.
