Sharing Best Practice: Commissioning for Digital Maturity and Cyber Resilience in Social Care

This session will explore how commissioners are supporting social care providers to advance their digital maturity and strengthen cyber resilience. Panellists will share examples of successful approaches, lessons learned, and practical insights from their work with the provider market, spanning cyber resilience, digital transformation, and other technology related initiatives.

The webinar will feature:

  • Margaret Woodcock from Hull City Council, sharing their experience of developing its Adult Social Care Digital Strategy, highlighting how collaboration with partners, stakeholders, and those in receipt of care helped shape a shared digital vision.
  • Becky Churchyard from Buckinghamshire Council, sharing their experiences of embedding cyber resilience in its contracts, commissioning, and quality monitoring.
  • Paul Berney from the TSA exploring the key lessons identified from their digital first blueprint, produced in collaboration with ADASS – TSA – ADASS/TSA Commission – Proactive & Preventative Services – Blueprint

This webinar offers an opportunity to learn from innovative commissioning approaches, share experiences, and gain practical insights to support digital and cyber development within adult social care.

Commissioners will have the opportunity to learn from peers, discover innovative approaches and explore how others are embedding digital and TEC into commissioning strategies.
