Delegates at the recent AI in Social Care Summit in Oxford, agreed the vision and priorities for the new AI in Social Care Alliance.
Building on our work with the Oxford Institute for Ethics in AI and Casson Consulting, this action-focused Alliance will focus on:
- Coproducing an AI constitution for social care: A clear, accessible statement of values and commitments that organisations can adopt, adapt, and be held accountable to.
- Creating practical guidance for providers including a guidance on AI regulation; frameworks for introducing AI, and positive case studies on the use of AI
- Building a research and co-production hub to collate, commission and facilitate international research.
- Promoting training and capacity building by curating training, and developing resources for people drawing on care and their families.
- Connecting all social care stakeholders by establishing an open network for sharing experiences, challenges and successes.
Watch out for further developments coming soon.
