The annual conference from VODG will bring together senior leaders from across the voluntary and social care sectors to explore the future of high-quality disability support, leadership and innovation. Taking place on 3 June 2026 at the Eastside Rooms in Birmingham, the flagship event is aimed at chief executives, trustees and senior directors from across the sector.
This year’s programme focuses on some of the biggest issues facing leaders in 2026, including financial resilience, workforce pressures, housing, neighbourhood health, crisis leadership and the growing impact of artificial intelligence. Sessions throughout the day will explore how organisations can respond to rising expectations while continuing to deliver person-centred support in an increasingly complex environment.
Digital Care Hub will be part of the conference’s closing panel discussion: AI at the Heart of Leadership | Shaping the Choices We Face Together. The session will explore how artificial intelligence is changing expectations of organisational leadership and the strategic, ethical and cultural decisions leaders now face. Panellists from research, technology, regulation, health and the voluntary sector will discuss governance, productivity, workforce change, risk management and public trust, alongside the practical realities of using AI in organisations today.
The panel includes our Chief Executive, Michelle Corrigan, alongside leaders from Microsoft, The Alan Turing Institute and the voluntary sector. The discussion aims to move beyond AI hype and focus on what leaders need to prioritise now to future-proof organisations while maintaining trust, ethics and organisational purpose.
Other sessions across the conference will explore topics including neighbourhood health, supported housing, financial governance, workforce reform and organisational resilience. Delegates will also have opportunities to network with peers, exhibitors and partners from across the sector.
