The King’s Fund virtual conference on Ambient Voice Technology: What’s Next for Health and Care?

Katie Thorn from Digital Care Hub will be speaking at The King’s Fund’s national conference exploring the future of Ambient Voice Technology (AVT) in health and care. Often referred to as “AI scribes”, AVT tools are being adopted across the NHS and care sector to reduce administrative burden, improve documentation processes and give professionals more time to focus on delivering care.

The event will bring together health and care leaders, clinicians, researchers and technology experts to share learning from early adopters, discuss governance and patient trust, and explore how organisations can successfully implement AVT at scale. Sessions will cover policy and regulation, practical experiences from primary and secondary care, change management, and future opportunities for AI-enabled care services.

Katie will contribute to discussions on the opportunities and challenges of adopting emerging technologies across health and social care, helping to ensure that the voice of adult social care is represented in conversations shaping the future of digital innovation
